L-112′s family is ok! Via Orca Network

Word from the Center for Whale Research this afternoon is that the immediate family of L112 – the 3-year old female found dead at Long Beach, in SW Washington - was seen April 29 off Westport, WA, in a group with several other L pod and K pod orcas.Considering the apparent blast trauma that L112 suffered, the question was whether they had also been killed. They were identified by photos taken by Greg Schorr and Erin Falcone of Cascadia Research.
