Killer Whale Tales Gala/Fundraiser a Huge Success!!!

On behalf of all of us at Killer Whale Tales, we would like to thank everyone who made our 11th Anniversary Gala Dinner and Benefit Auction a rousing success.  Thanks to their generous contributions, we raised nearly $13,000 for the program which ensures that nearly 3000 students are guaranteed of getting our top flight program delivered to them at no cost to the school.

This support could not have come at a better time. With the recent cut backs in school funding, many teachers are having to forego field trips and to pass up on bringing high-quality programming into their classes. All of the contributions on Saturday will go along way to helping Killer Whale Tales engage students with cutting edge orca science through the art of storytelling, and inspire them to understand their connection to their environment and the long term health of the Southern Resident Killer Whales.
