“Give Big” to Killer Whale Tales on May 3rd, 2016!
On May 6th, Killer Whale Tales is joining in with the Seattle Foundation for this year’s “Give Big” event and we want your support!
And the best part: The Seattle Foundation/Give BIG sponsors will match a share of your contribution.
So the more you give to KWTales, the greater our share of those matching dollars will be!
Of course there are lots of great non-profits participating, so why give to us? I will let those we work with explain for us….
“I love learning about nature and so do the students. This (program) brought the Puget Sound right into our classroom!” Ms. A, Lakeridge Elementary
“Thank you for coming to my school and teaching our fourth graders about killer whales such as orcas. Also thank you for giving us the orca trading cards. Another thing I want to thank you about is the home work. I am going to do the most I can. We can or need to help save orcas by turning off lights and eating organic food. Hopefully you know that I thank you for everything.” N. 3rd grade student
“I just can’t thank you enough for the incredible presentation today. My students and I are totally inspired! Jeff you are an amazingly talented man!! We all learned so much about whales, research, being stewards of the planet…realizing one’s professional potential and dreams…You are an outstanding presenter and educator. Can we please sign up for next year?” Ms. R, West Lake Elementary, Santa Cruz
Each year we visit nearly 10k students throughout Washington State, Northern California and coastal Oregon. We bring the latest in orca research and conservation to more than 200 classrooms, inspiring students to get involved in the conservation of these endangered animals. Best of all, we do this at no cost to the participating school.
With your help Killer Whale Tales is leading the charge to engage tomorrow’s generation into helping in the conservation of our endangered orcas and the habitat that supports us all.
Please, get out your calendar and write a reminder to yourself to GiveBIG to Killer Whale Tales on May 3rd. A link to our Give Big page can be found here.
